How to check a care provider's license in Delaware

Before you choose a care provider, it is worth checking that its license is current. It takes about two minutes.

1. Open the provider's page in this directory. The green License box shows the license type, number and the date we checked it.
2. Choose Check this license on the state's list. That opens the Delaware Division of Health Care Quality's own list.
3. Find the provider's name on the state's list and confirm the license number matches.

In Delaware, the Division of Health Care Quality licenses these kinds of care. Its website is dhss.delaware.gov/dhcq.
